My name is Trishna!
I am a second generation Indian-American based in southeast Michigan. I am a yoga guide primarily offering Hatha and prenatal/postnatal practices, and am a lifelong student of yoga.
The practice of yoga wove its way in and out of my life until 2019 when I took my first teacher training and sincerely committed to the practice. At first I wasn’t planning on actually teaching, but after this incredibly transformative experience I realized the depths of where this path can take you and felt a responsibility to share this with others.
I believe the integration of your mind, body, and breath is a powerful practice that allows for self-discovery and awareness both on and off the mat. My aim is to authentically share the wisdom of these yogic practices and to create an inclusive environment that supports all students on their journey back to themselves.
I had the pleasure of joining Exie Buehler on the Metro Detroit Birth Stories podcast to share the story of my first birthing experience. In this heartfelt conversation, we explore my background, my journey into prenatal yoga, and the personal experiences that shaped my approach to supporting expectant mothers.
