Why Prenatal Yoga?
Prenatal yoga goes far beyond just learning how to move in a changing body. The practice teaches you how to cultivate and strengthen the tools that will help you prepare your body, mind, and breath for what is perhaps one of the most important experiences a birth giver may have. The techniques you will learn are designed to serve you throughout your pregnancy, birthing experience, and beyond. One of the most important aspects of prenatal yoga is community. Each practice will begin with circle time where you will be able to connect with other birth givers and be able to share, learn from, and hold space for each other during this time in your life. They say, “It takes a village to raise a child!”, but that mindset also applies to growing one!

“Trishna is an amazing instructor with a very soothing presence. She really cares about her students, their goals, and ensuring they are comfortable. The stretching and breathing exercises complemented the strength and stability we worked on building to support my changing body to prepare for a healthy pregnancy and labor. I highly recommend Trishna, she’s the best!.”

“I worked with Trishna pretty late in my pregnancy, but she was great about asking me questions regarding my physical well-being and if I was given any restrictions or limitations. I like that she started with breathing exercises and she led them at a good pace. During some of the seated poses I experienced discomfort so she helped me use some props to feel supported. She was great at picking up on my needs throughout the class like when I could use a little water break or moment of rest and I felt very comfortable and supported in doing that. Her flexibility to modify the postures to meet my body’s needs worked really well. I would recommend Trishna any day - she knows how to listen to her students!”

“Trishna led me through a practice that was the perfect blend of a physical challenge while also allowing space for me to relax and connect with myself and baby. She was very knowledgeable and her energy was so calming. I particularly liked how she kept checking in with me throughout the practice to make sure I was able to follow her or to see if something was working for me or how we could change it. She did a fantastic job and was very personable!”
